Highgrove is a Must-See!

So Mama Parks and I checked out the Highgrove Open House today and the recently-completed renovations and brand new Garden Ballroom do NOT disappoint! The venue looks absolutely stunning and is the picture-perfect setting for a “Old Southern” wedding with a regal and classy feel, which never goes out of style. Their packages include the chivari chairs you see in the slideshow below, as well as a choice of linens from CE Rentals. The flowers in the photos below were provided by Flowers on Broad Street, which is located right in Fuquay Varina. I have to say, any brides out there who have not selected their venue yet MUST see this space and talk to their event coordinator about package details. They are filling up quickly for both 2011 and 2012 weddings so book a site visit soon. Below is a slideshow of some shots I took while at the open house today.

Highgrove Open House Tomorrow- Visit the new Garden Ballroom

Highgrove is hosting a Spring Open House on April 30 from 10am-1pm. Please RSVP to Susan Blakesley.

Highgrove is a beautiful estate on six acres, just outside Raleigh in Fuquay Varina, noted for its hilltop views overlooking Lake Laurel. This popular romantic wedding venue recently completed a restoration which included the addition of a Garden Ballroom, an atrium-styled room that allows guests to enjoy wrap-around views of the lovely outdoors. Highgrove has also restored the exterior of the home which now has the nostalgic look of a southern estate with enhancements to the front and ballroom patios. The new additions to Highgrove opened for weddings earlier this month.

I don’t have a photo of the new Garden Ballroom yet,but this photo below by Azul Photography shows the beautiful estate.
