Island Sound & Video is celebrating 25 years of great events in 2012 with a new look, an updated website, special packages, and several special events throughout the year.

Founded in upstate New York in 1987 to service Weddings, Mitzvahs, bars and clubs, Peter Krumenacker quickly set Island Sound apart from the competition with meticulous preparation and unmatched reliability. Relocating to the Triangle area in 1999, Peter soon built a team of accomplished DJ’s from different backgrounds and expanded Island Sound’s services to include corporate events, team building, equipment rentals, lighting and multimedia services.

 “In 25 years we’ve learned that nothing beats great word of mouth,” said founder Peter Krumenacker. “Our clients constantly refer us to their friends and family, and we’re humbled to have had the opportunity to be a part of so many truly special events. We’re also grateful that so many wedding vendors and our friends in the local DJ community contact us whenever they have big events and special equipment needs. Even at the last minute, they know they can count on us. We’d like to thank the Triangle Bridal Association, The Triangle DJ Association, Southern Bride & Groom, ISES, NACE, the Triangle Apartment Association and all the other vendors for their continued support and friendship, and look forward to many more great years working together to create unforgettable events.”

 Island Sound has a team of full-time professional DJ’s, Videographers and A-V techs, whose hard work has paid off and, in its 25th year, they’re the resource of choice for savvy brides, attentive customers, and industry insiders alike.
