2013 Style Shoot – Country Wedding Elegance
We are so pleased to release the behind-the-scenes video by Life Stage Films. This video tribute is a look inside of what goes into the special details that really make a wedding unique to a couple. We strive to create details in our style shoots to inspire couples and help them find their ideal wedding look! A big thanks to the Matt Davis, owner of LSF, for hanging out during our shoot and his team for putting together this special video!
Our sweet couple, Becca Jane and Todd Cody (now Mr. and Mrs!) were the winners of our 25th Anniversary Photoshoot Contest. They married in June 2012 in Chapel Hill, and used a slew of SB&G vendors to make their big day special & unique. The newlyweds reside in Washington, DC, but drove down for this opportunity to relive their wedding day! 
After Hurricane Sandy forced us to reschedule, SB&G had a blast doing this shoot on a warm and sunny November afternoon. Our team, including coordination by Erin McLean Events, brought together an elegant rustic theme to highlight our venue, Het Landhuis — a fabulous country estate with a barn and event space! We combined this year’s popular neutral shades with rusty reds and fresh verdant hues, and The English Garden florist arranged a wedding scene with their own decor doors and floral wreaths in Het Landhuis‘ designated ceremony location. We set a formal table in the banquet room of the romantic barn that boasts Dutch influence in its architecture and detailing.
