| Ginny & Greig Ginny Lee met Greig Mare on Lake Lanier in Georgia a few years ago, and they've been together ever since. Once they were engaged, the wedding location decision was an easy one. Ginny had grown up in Wilmington and attended UNCW, so, with Greig's family from Australia, the Wilmington area was a natural "destination" wedding for the couple. The ceremony was held on the beach beside Johnnie Mercers pier, beneath a gauzy canopy decorated with the couple's floral choices in ivory-white and coral. Guests arrived via Wilmington trolley, leaving their footwear at a "shoe valet" before the ceremony. Instead of a "unity candle", the couple poured two colors of sand into one vase, signifying the combination of two lives. Continuing the beach theme, guests wrote messages to the couple at the reception, which was held at a private beach house, and placed them into a bottle to be opened on the couple's first anniversary! The Bridge Tender Restaurant in Wrightsville Beach handled both the rehearsal dinner and the reception catering - the very place Ginny had been a cocktail waitress during her college years! Ginny and Greig enjoyed a fabulous honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and now make their home in Atlanta, Georgia.
