Its that time of year again! Forever Bridal’s second big wedding show of the year is coming up next week.
The Southern Bridal Show & Expo is Sunday, April 22 from 11:00am-4:00pm at the Jim Graham Building of the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.
This bridal show is an annual event which showcases over 150 Triangle wedding experts who will inspire you. Enjoy hourly wedding fashion previews from the latest trends in bridal and formalwear. Meet and connect with talented Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill wedding venues, caterers, bakeries, photographers, wedding planners, and more!

SB&G Photo Shoot Contest for Triangle NC Couples
As part of our 25th Anniversary Celebration, Southern Bride & Groom, the Triangle’s leading bridal magazine and resource, is hosting a PHOTO SHOOT CONTEST for REAL RALEIGH-DURHAM-CHAPEL HILL COUPLES!
We are looking for a loving LOCAL couple who is engaged or recently-married. We want to hear your story- how you met, fell in love, and got engaged! We also want to see your on camera chemistry since you’ll be SB&G models for the day!
To be considered for this photo shoot, submit your story via the “FEATURE MY WEDDING” tab at the BOTTOM of the REAL WEDDINGS Page. When submitting, make sure to check “Yes” to the box that asks if you’d like to be considered for the Photo Shoot Contest (one of the last questions). Then, email a few wedding or engagement photos of you and your boo to info@southernbrideandgroom.com.

SB&G and Tre Bella on NBC-17′s My Carolina Today
Southern Bride & Groom is excited to announce that we’ll be on NBC-17′s My Carolina Today this Monday, March 26. The program is on NBC-17 at 11am. Please tune in and watch!
We did a special shoot at Tre Bella Bridal in Durham this week, with Sharon Delaney, and showed a couple of the trendiest bridal gowns of the 2012 season.
Sharon and SB&G have something in common – we are both a part of Tre Bella’s fashion event, Altar Ego, which will take place at the Washington Duke Inn on Saturday, March 31. This will be a full evening of entertainment – with food, drinks, live music, inspirational table displays, and best of all, a fashion show! This will include bridal, bridesmaid and menswear attire, as well as local designers and boutique clothing. It will be an evening to remember. Get your tickets HERE!

British designer, Jenny Packham, has a unique bridal style that we love so much. She is known for her vintage inspired wedding gowns and her fabulous red carpet designs that our favorite stars are often spotted wearing.
The trunk show will run from Thursday, March 8th, through Sunday, March 11th. Hours are 9am-7pm but you must have an appointment.

A very exciting guest appearance on NBC-17′s My Carolina Today is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7th.
Top celebrity event designer Matthew Robbins will be on the 11AM show, promoting his new book, “Inspired Weddings.” He will also be teaching Sharon and Valonda how to create a tabletop design based on various budgets!
Robbins has worked with Martha Stewart, Tina Fey, Vera Wang, Whitney Houston, Sade and more, so he is an event expert. If any SB&G readers have a question for Matthew, email it to us at info@southernbridandgroom.com by Friday, Feb 3 and we’ll submit it to My Carolina Today!

Pronovias Trunk Show at Lana Addison Bridal
Lana Addison Bridal is hosting a special trunk show this Friday and Saturday, January 13-14, at their bridal salon in downtown Cary, NC. They will be featuring 15-20 Pronovias gowns that are only at the boutique this weekend!
