Loved SB&G Vendor Ties the Knot with a Boho Wedding

Eclectic Raleigh Wedding at 1705 East

After years of designing gorgeous wedding makeup and hairstyles at Bella Trio salon, it was finally Cait’s turn to walk down the aisle as the bride at the 1705 East wedding venue in historic Raleigh. Cait & Jeremy are Southern lovebirds with offbeat taste, and 1705 East offered the perfect combination of traditional and modern style. The color palette for their eclectic Raleigh wedding featured peach, lilac, eucalyptus greenery, ivory, and pops of pink and copper accents. As a Bella Trio Salon makeup artist and hairstylist, Cait turned straight to Southern Bride & Groom magazine to find the perfect vendors for her unforgettable wedding day.

A Modern Day Romance

Having met online, Cait & Jeremy are a true modern day love story. After meeting in person, they discovered that although Jeremy grew up in Florida, the house his family moved to in high school was just down the road from Cait’s childhood home! Fate?

Following a romantic city engagement in the twinkling streets of Chicago beside a water fountain, the couple planned their May wedding to take place at 1705 East wedding venue in North Raleigh.

Bella Trio Salon Prepares a Bohemian Bride-to-be

Preparation for the big day was easy due to Cait’s special connection with Bella Trio Salon & Spa as an employee. Bella Trio styled Cait’s hair with softly curled bangs framing her glowing smile and an updo tucked in naturally with white flowery hair pin accessories. Cait’s boho bridal look was completed with natural makeup, a dreamy smokey eye, and a classic red-lip. She got ready for her eclectic Raleigh wedding in the 1705 East bridal suite.

Tre Bella’s Whimsical Wedding Flowers & Bridal Gown

For her boho bridal gown, Cait chose to wear a Blush by Hayley Paige from Tre Bella salon in downtown Durham. This beautifully fitted dress was covered in incredible beading details and had dazzling neck and back lines. Tre Bella salon helped Cait find the perfect bridal gown to match her modern bohemian style.

Boho Details for this Eclectic Raleigh Wedding

To complete Cait & Jeremy’s modern secret garden style wedding, the floral division of Tre Bella designed whimsical flower arrangements that adorned the 1705 East wedding venue in Raleigh. Cait gushed over Tre Bella’s design, “The flowers were gorgeous! I was in love with my bouquet. And the tables looked just like I envisioned… Tre Bella really took what I said and made it into something more than I imagined.”

Together, this laid back couple did not need a bridal party to look amazing at their eclectic Raleigh wedding at 1705 East. Cait glowed in her bohemian Tre Bella bridal gown and Jeremy looked dashing in his navy blue suit from Men’s Formalwear.

One of Cait’s favorite moments from their wedding was the first look she did with her dad. Both father and daughter shed more than a few tears upon seeing Cait as an elegant bride.

The ceremony took place at 1705 East beneath a modern copper arch draped in bohemian flowers, hip geometric terrariums, and silky white gauze. Jeremy’s old college roommate kindly performed as the charismatic and comedic wedding officiant.

Groovy 1705 East Raleigh Wedding Reception

Cait & Jeremy loved the North Raleigh wedding venue 1705 East so much that they chose to host both their ceremony and reception there. This made their special day stress-free and beautiful for all family and friends who attended. Guests enjoyed seeing the eclectic style of the bride and groom shine through in subtle wedding details.

As a token of Jeremy’s musical taste, the guestbook was made out of groovy old vinyl records! One of the vinyl records featured a painting of the couple in the center done by a very talented coworker, Lydia Dowell.

Priceless Advice at the End of a Wedding Day

Bride Cait offers some pretty amazing advice for any couples planning their wedding,

“Surround yourself with people who will support you. If you never end up practicing the first dance, it will turn out fine. Also things will go wrong, don’t sweat it! My strap broke right after the ceremony but I had a sewing kit so I fixed it right before pictures. Both ended up breaking by the end of the night but I just left it because it was kind of a running joke at that point and it’s just a sign of a good party that I danced by straps off!”
