Art in Bloom at NCMA
The North Carolina Museum of Art hosts its second Art in Bloom, a four-day festival of art and flowers. Floral designers from across NC, including several SB&G florists, bring springtime into West Building by interpreting masterworks from the permanent collection in 56 breathtaking flower displays. Cost is $10 for members; $15 for non-members and free for kids under six.The Farmer and the Brewer Beer Dinner at Fairview Dining Room

Mystery Brewing Company and Prodigal Farm team up to bring a unique ‘brewer and farmer’ dinner to the Fairview Dining Room at The Washington Duke Inn. Executive Chef Jason Cunningham will masterfully create a multi-course menu incorporating decadent cheese and celebratory beer. Seating is limited, so register today. NC Beer Month Dinner at The Umstead
Thursday, April 14 – 6:30pm
Haw River Farmhouse Ales will be the focus of a five-course dinner event at Herons restaurant by Executive Chef Steven Greene. Known for Belgian-style beers of incredible depth and acidity, chef has planned a menu to complement four distinct ales chosen by The Umstead’s sommelier Hai Tran. Cost is $95+. The Glass Box is hosting a benefit for N.C. Children’s Promise (the fundraising arm of the North Carolina Children’s Hospital in Chapel Hill)! This creative night of crafts features several SB&G vendors like Maghon of All She Wrote Notes and a bubbly bar and sweets by Sugar Euphoria. Every registration fee will go to the N.C.
