Vibrant Fall Wedding at Rose Hill Plantation
Nicole and Tyler knew from the moment they started planning their wedding that Rose Hill Plantation was the place they were going to celebrate their special day. Nicole is a Sales Manager at Rose Hill Plantation and is surrounded by their beautiful weddings year round. Being her second home, it felt like the perfect setting for their wedding day. Their wedding was the first weekend of fall and with a mixture of golds and champagnes and a dash of merlot it was the perfect color scheme for the season. This outdoor fall wedding at Rose Hill Plantation, outside of the Raleigh/Durham area, was a stunning day to remember.
Nicole and Tyler’s Love Story
Nicole and Tyler met through mutual friends on a beach vacation in Atlantic Beach. After a few weeks, Tyler had a friend reach out to Nicole for her number. Five months and a thousand text messages, they began dating. On a “normal” Thursday night Tyler asked Nicole to come to the fire department, where he worked, to help flip the breaker with him to fix an electrical issue. As they drove up to the fire department all of the lights were out and Tyler told Nicole to wait for his cue to flip the switch. When the lights came back on the building sign lit up with a sweet message, “Nicole Paige, Will You Marry Me?”.
Outdoor Countryside Wedding at Rose Hill Plantation
It’s no wonder that this couple easily chose to have their wedding at Rose Hill Plantation. The wedding venue in Nash County, NC, right outside of Raleigh, is the perfect countryside romantic venue for your wedding. Nestled at the end of a country lane with brilliant myrtle trees, Rose Hill Plantation is a picturesque countryside estate. The lush rolling hills, beautiful gardens of flowers, and luxurious fields of green are the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.
Also on the property is a 18th-century manor that is rich in history and equally as stunning. The Rose Hill’s Manor House has the definition of Southern hospitality in its atmosphere that is ideal for a wedding reception or indoor ceremony.
Nicole shared that “Rose Hill Plantation is my second home. It was a no brainer! I love the southern charm the plantation has to offer along with all of the lush grounds and landscaping.”
Nicole and Tyler shared their vows on the front porch of the old southern plantation home and it could not have been a more picture perfect wedding ceremony. With their family and friends surrounded in the front lawn of the historic venue, their “I dos” were extraordinarily memorable.
The bridal party wore a mix of champagne and gold tone gowns with the exception of the Maid of Honor who was in a merlot colored gown. The unique pop of color with the MOH dress was an absolutely stunning touch to the bridal party. The grooms party wore complimentary sharp grey suits with champagne colored ties.
Southern Charm Reception in the Ballroom at Rose Hill Plantation
Following a beautiful outdoor cocktail hour on the patio of the plantation manor that overlooks the rolling hills of the property, the couple celebrated their wedding reception indoors at the elegant southern ballroom at Rose Hill Plantation. With the head wedding party table being draped in a pop of merlot, stunning florals flowing around the grand fireplace and on each table, and floating candles throughout the room, the ballroom was decorated in the most elegant vision for Nicole and Tyler’s wedding reception.
The couple shared a special moment by lighting a chinese lantern and letting it float up to the sky in memory of the groom’s late mother who passed a few years before the wedding.
