Heidi Werner
“I’ve planned many weddings but there is something special about a southern wedding. It holds its own special kind of grace and charm.

It’s a lot of work to create that perfect day. The details are endless but I enjoy every single one of them. Perhaps the most gratifying to me is the moment that I am standing alone with a couple right before we open the doors to announce their entrance into the wedding reception. It’s a quiet moment where I am saying good luck, congratulations, and goodbye all at the same time. Then the doors open and applause mingled with an endearing tune welcomes two people into their new lives together.”

Samantha Mead
“The sweet smell of magnolias and fresh Carolina air has fueled my passion for planning southern tradition since 2008. Originally from Pennsylvania, my husband Travis and I found the Carolina Blue Skies and haven’t looked back.  With a great appreciation for the outdoors, Chapel Hill provides the perfect atmosphere for rocking on the front porch and hosting southern banquets. We look forward to raising our daughter as a true southern belle.”

Kristen Prescott
“I’m a true Southern girl, born and raised in eastern North Carolina. I love all things southern: mason jars, magnolias and sipping sweet tea on my front porch. I live in downtown Chapel Hill with my husband Bradley and our daughter Harper Rose. There’s no doubt that planning weddings at The Carolina Inn was a perfect fit for me – a place known and cherished for its hospitality and charm.

After seven years of planning I still tear up for the father-daughter dance and can’t wait to see the groom’s face when his bride walks down the aisle. It’s not just the wedding that makes my heart beat a little faster; it’s the whole process from start to finish.”

Tiffany Dawn Jackson
“Southern wedding traditions hold a close place in my heart from bridal portraits and signature drinks, to courtyard ceremonies and pearls. In hopes of becoming a southern belle one day, I was immediately attracted to The Carolina Inn, and thinking how magical this place is.

Last year I was lucky enough to marry a true southern gentleman. As a newlywed, I know how time consuming planning a wedding can be; however, this is when the fun begins! I love chatting with the bride and groom about their vision for their big day, and turning that vision into reality. My favorite part of the wedding day is standing in the ballroom right before cocktail hour when every detail is in the right place and the room is about to be filled with love, joy and fun! I love seeing the biggest smiles on the bride and groom’s face before they enter as husband and wife because I know we created a magical day that they will always remember.”
