It’s Wedding Feature Wednesday at Southern Bride & Groom! Today we’re excited to share a new Real NC Wedding — Jamie and Scott’s Rustic Romance Wedding at Rose Hill Plantation, with photos by Bill Broere Photography.
Jamie and Scott met while they were attending NC State University, and got engaged during a private dinner at sunset in Aruba.
The bride’s favorite movie is Sweet Home Alabama, so she knew she wanted to wed at a white plantation-style home. When the couple visited Rose Hill Plantation, they knew it was the perfect spot to say “I do!”
Jamie and Scott chose an ivory, gold and blush color palette to complement the rustic romance of Rose Hill. One of the couple’s favorite details of their wedding day was the horse-drawn carriage. Jamie had always dreamt of riding to her “prince” at the altar, so she and her father had a grand entrance, and the newlyweds returned to the carriage for their processional and evening exit!
Jamie turned to SB&G for inspiration in planning her wedding day details, and the couple used several members of the SB&G family to make their big day come to life, including Rose Hill Plantation, CE Rental and Cute Buttons Gift & Paper Boutique.
