Southern Love Story Brought to Life at Rose Hill Wedding Venue by Chad Biggs Event Planning & Design
Every wedding tells a story. Alexis and Andrew’s wedding sings a love story of sweet southern romance. Chad Biggs Event Planning & Design brought their love story to life on the beautiful canvas of Rose Hill wedding venue. Chad Biggs painted Rose Hill with colors of sky blue, navy blue, gold, and kisses of blush and white like a true artist. The sweet summertime essence of Alexis and Andrew’s wedding are perfectly captured on their invitation suite made by PaperBuzz featured below. The tranquil North Carolina countryside of Rose Hill provided a dreamy summertime wedding backdrop. Alexis and Andrew’s love for one another was embraced by the warm support of their family and friends. With a wedding party of 24, Alexis and Andrew were thankful to have an expert wedding planner to direct their wedding day.
Bride Alexis said that hiring a wedding planner you can trust is the most important step to take in the planning process,
“Whether it was making suggestions or just organizing our thoughts, Chad really pulled all of our ideas together into a cohesive image…Chad and his team were absolutely amazing and took all of our stress away within the first meeting we had with him.”
From High School “Promposal” to College Marriage Proposal
The “promposal” is one of America’s latest trends on the high school scene. Students go to extravagant ends to come up with the most creative ways to ask their date to prom. Alexis and Andrew’s love story began right before Junior year high school prom. Although Andrew might not have planned an over the top promposal in high school, he planned a very special marriage proposal six years later. After years of long distance dating between Charleston and Raleigh, Andrew invited Alexis and her family down to Charleston for the weekend. That weekend Andrew popped the question. Alexis didn’t hesitate to say yes and said this of her surprise Charleston marriage proposal, “There isn’t anything more exciting than getting engaged to the love of your life and then getting to celebrate right away with your family.”
When it came to selecting a North Carolina wedding venue, Alexis said Rose Hill was the perfect match for two specific reasons. Reason number one, Rose Hill wedding venue is beautiful and secluded. Located in Nashville, North Carolina, Rose Hill is a historic plantation with rolling hills and stunning southern architecture. This unique wedding venue offers the perfect countryside backdrop for a wedding away from the noise and bustle of the Triangle. Reason number two, Rose Hill is incredibly flexible with their wedding clients. Alexis and Andrew were allowed to make all of the decisions when it came to orchestrating their wedding day at Rose Hill.
Bridal Gown Excellence at Alexia’s Bridal Shop in Downtown Raleigh
Alexis found her dream bridal gown at Alexia’s bridal shop in downtown Raleigh. Designed by Monique Lhuillier, the gorgeous gown featured lace off the shoulder sleeves and a classic A-line silhouette. To match her romantic bridal gown, Alexis chose a delicate veil with flower stitching designed by Jennifer Leigh also from Alexia’s. Her bridesmaids stepped out in soft sky blue dresses and bouquets overflowing with white and blush flowers. Altogether, Alexis and Andrew’s 24 person bridal party looked amazing. The groom and his groomsmen wore dark grey suits with dapper white bow ties.
The most special detail on Alexis and Andrew’s wedding day were the pins that the groomsmen wore in honor of Alexis’ brother, Chris, who passed away six months prior to the wedding. The groomsmen wore small white and gold crossed ski pins right above their boutonnières in heartfelt remembrance of Chris.
Fairytale Wedding Ceremony on the Front Steps of Rose Hill
Leave it to Chad Biggs to design and plan one of the most romantic wedding ceremony stages on the front door steps of Rose Hill. The brick sidewalk leading up to the front doors of Rose Hill spilled over with white and blush flower petals. Wedding guests took their seats on either side of a sidewalk lined with gorgeous green and white bouquets. Alexis and Andrew held each other tightly as they promised to love and care for one another for the rest of their lives. The historic southern architecture of Rose Hill framed the bride and groom with symmetrical white columns and black shutters. Chad Biggs has a talent beyond measure when it comes to bringing a couples’ wedding vision to life.
Marvelous Rose Hill Wedding Reception Designed by Chad Biggs
“Wow,” must’ve been the first word on the lips of guests as they walked into Alexis and Andrew’s Rose Hill wedding reception. Chad Biggs placed the head table at the center of the ballroom to showcase the stunning floral arrangements of blush, white, and green. The tables were decorated with cream gold linens, blush napkins, and crystal and gold dishware from CE Rental. Magnificent chandeliers dripped from the ceiling in summer greenery and crystals.
Bride Alexis describes the feeling of seeing all of the planning and detailed decisions come together on her wedding day, “the most incredible and dreamy moment of the night was looking around while in the middle of the dance floor, to see all of our friends and family smiling and dancing and to take in all of the beauty that our amazing vendors made happen. To know that these individuals went through so much work to make this day perfect for you is a surreal feeling and we can never thank our vendors enough for all of their hard work, I’ve never seen anything so stunning.”
Today, Alexis and Andrew live in the land of the pines, Raleigh, North Carolina. Their summer wedding day at Rose Hill is a day they will never forget. The newlyweds are thankful for everyone who made their dreams come true, especially the priceless role Chad Biggs had to play,
“Chad Biggs is one of the most professional and kind individuals we had the pleasure of working with – he exceeded my highest expectations of a planner and ended up being a great friend as well, he is so optimistic and will do anything to ensure that a brides wedding day is the best day of her life.”
