Breakdown of the Event Spaces at The Barn at Valhalla
The main event space is the barn. This is an intimate venue that would be best described with a rustic vibe, with its log walls and wooden floors. There is a kitchen, and it is adjacent to a parking lot that can be tented if you would like a larger guest count than fits inside. We have seen Kast Events execute this design seamlessly. Back inside the barn, double doors open onto a deck that overlooks a pond, and is surrounded by woods. Upstairs, there are a few bedrooms where your friends can bunk together.
The lodge is another area that is mainly used for accommodations. It has several bedrooms, and a full kitchen and dining area. Downstairs is a huge game room where more people can stay, or which can be used for the guys to hang out pre-ceremony. The master bedroom suite is a dream for the bride and groom to stay in their first night together as husband and wife. It even comes with a gacouzzi. Both the bedroom suite, and the main living area have floor to ceiling windows that are surrounded by woods. The living area has a large stone fireplace, but no furniture so it can be used as an event space. That could mean a rehearsal dinner at night, or a wedding ceremony against a backdrop of trees through the windows. There is a loft space that overlooks the main floor – which is sometimes used for speeches.
A walkway across the pond leads to the gazebo, which is an octagon shaped structure that literally sits on the water. This can be used for a small wedding event. Or, it can be a place to practice yoga or meditate before your wedding.
When I visited The Barn at Valhalla, I fell in love. I know you will too!
