The Bradford – a French villa styled country estate near Chapel Hill and Raleigh
The Bradford is an elegant event space that was built in a rural part of Wake County near the Jordan Lake area. This amazing Raleigh area wedding venue comes from sisters Dana and Courtney, who own a wedding planning company called C and D Events. They began the work of creating an idyllic wedding venue in 2013. Their process in building this European style estate unlike any other event space in the Triangle Area was enhanced by their knowledge of how to run a wedding day.
Romantic Raleigh Weddings in a European style venue
The white brick manor home with entry circle has an adjacent ceremony lawn complete with a side yard garden has an unmistakable European ambience. The large expanse of lawns in the back area of the home has a huge terrace with pavers ensconced in flowering shrubs and an outer canopy of woods. This terrace is perfect for an al fresco reception or a tented event amid The Bradford’s festive market lights. Tented weddings and receptions are also popular at The Bradford. Just off the terrace is a stand-alone ballroom for indoor receptions, music and dancing!
The house itself has three levels where couples may enjoy their cocktail hour, an intimate wedding reception for 100 to 120 guests. Brides can relax with champagne and prepare in the getting-ready spaces and bedrooms of the second and third floor levels. There is a pre-wedding room for grooms too, and a new groom’s room will be finished in 2019 away from the house above the ballroom.
The Bradford is a hidden countryside gem with privacy and plenty of guest parking. We love the lovely classic European look of the house and grounds and its versatility. Whether your wedding dream is a beautiful outdoor ceremony and seated dinner, indoors or outdoors. A magnificent elegant celebration to unite your family and friends in Southern hospitality, The Bradford fits the bill.
